    This is the introductory, low end model in Canon's EOS line. As such, it is pretty no frills, and not exactly built like a tank, but quite satisfactory. Like the rest of the EOS line, this is an all electronic, multimode automatic camera. These cameras use the EF series of lenses, and are auto focus as well as autoexposure. There is no winding lever; the film is advanced, and rewound, by an electric motor. as such, this camera is completely dependant on it's battery, which is reputed to last for several dozen rolls of film.
